Noosh Black started traveling internationally at six years old. Hooked instantly, she knew she wanted to travel forever. However, it wasn't until she met her husband Aaron Black, that she took the steps to change her life in search of travel, adventure and perfect warm waves. Quitting her 9 to 5 as a local reporter and anchor for an NBC Affiliate, WPTV Newschannel 5, she bought a one-way ticket to the other side of the world and didn't look back. Today, she works internationally as a freelance web producer & videojournalist for TIVA-TV (based in Berlin, Germany) specializing in WebTV series and miniDocumentaries for online news portals, IPTV providers and more. She most recently covered Spain's Olympic Basketball team in Cadiz, Spain. She is also co-owner of Amagi Adventures, Inc.
Noosh brings years of travel experience to Amagi Adventures. Her past in new media reporting gave her an edge in the search for travel tips and deals online. Noosh was featured on segments "Super Saturday Savings" and "Noosh on the Net" and has covered holiday travel tips with the NBC Today Show's Peter Greenberg. Working around the world, she was also a web producer for the Raglan Chronicle in Raglan, New Zealand, a surf mecca that is home to some of the world's longest rides. Offline, Noosh has over ten years of leadership experience and worked with the United Nations and Australian leadership committees, serving as an International Guide in Sydney as well as with the Rotary Youth Leadership Assembly (District 6930) in a managing capacity.
Her goal for the Amagi experience is to combine the adventure of surfing and the freedom of travel with individual personal attention and yoga. Yoga has been a part of her life for the past eight years (Hatha & Bikram yoga) and has taught private lessons in New Zealand, Spain and the United States.
In her down time, Noosh enjoys spearfishing, rappelling, yoga, hiking, photography and living the free life. The Amagi life.
