It was a short phone call conversation over 10 years ago that changed Aaron's life forever. A close friend simply asked, "so what do you want to do with your life?' In the middle of the heated New York traffic Aaron decided he needed to live the life he always wanted: to travel and surf. So, he set out to chase his passion. Thousands of miles, a bachelors in Spanish and hundreds of ding repairs later, Aaron made Costa Rica home and opened up his lifelong dream: a surf travel company.  Today he is Owner and CEO of Amagi Adventures, a company designed to take the stress out of traveling.

Besides the drive to share the stoke of surfing, Aaron Black has over 20 years of global surfing experience including Costa Rica, Spain, New Zealand, Portugal, Morocco, Puerto Rico and the Canary Islands. He is the former CEO and shaper of Blackhardt Skateboards a skateboarding company based out of St. Augustine, Florida and specializing in custom old school style boards. He is an international surf instructor, a former Quicksilver Camp Instructor and CPR/First Aid trained St. John's County Lifeguard.  Behind the scenes, Aaron is an international photographer for TIVA-TV (based in Berlin, Germany)and recently covered Spain's Olympic Basketball team in Cadiz, Spain. Aaron is also fluent in Spanish and learning Farsi.

Aaron is excited to call the country Newsweek most recently named, "The Happiest Country on Earth" home.

In his freetime, Aaron enjoys surfing, spearfishing, rappelling, skateboarding, yoga, hiking and plays the didgeridoo.
